
Armed with a script penned by Tony Giglio (“Chaos”), Alan B. McElroy (“Spawn”) and director Mike P. Nelson (“Wrong Turn”), he and Constantin Film’s physical production exec Bernhard Thür (“Resident Evil: Afterlife”) headed to Colombia, lured by its competitive tax incentives and positive renown, to meet with production service company Jaguar Bite and location scout the Amazon and jungle areas for accessibility. They also interviewed key department heads—costume, makeup, stunts etc.
