Formerly known as “Press Your Luck”, the film about William "Bill" Pearson, a man who became a folk hero after winning a massive sum of money on a television game show is now titled “The Luckiest Man in America”. The movie was produced by Plenty Good and Fabula, in association with Jaguar Bite providing the production services in Colombia and in charge of all physical production in the country, where the movie was entirely shot. The film received the 40% incentive for audiovisual production in Colombia under Law 1556.

We’re delighted to announce that “The Luckiest Man in America” will be premiering at TIFF 2024. The Film Festival takes place in Toronto, Canada and it’s one of the A class and biggest festivals in the world. The film will premiere in the Special Presentations section in which the best of the Festival is shown. The movie will be sharing the spot with the Palme D’Or “Anora”, and must see films like “Conclave”, “Emilia Perez”, “Nightbitch”, “Queer”, “The Room Next Door” and “Joker: Folie à Deux”.
